About

Learn more about Boston New Technology

Boston New Technology is a not-for-profit startup, technology, and business community of 28k professionals, whose mission is to help startups and local businesses launch and grow! BNT's network extends to Austin, Texas, with over 50k members across 15 meetup groups!

BNT is an awesome network for entrepreneurs, investors, coders, designers, business developers, marketers, technology enthusiasts, and other professionals to connect at live events, be inspired and educated, share amazing opportunities, collaborate, launch and learn about new product ventures, form partnerships and grow businesses!

BNT helps early-stage startups and partner companies by providing significant publicity and support from the community through BNT's live events, marketing channels, and partner groups.

BNT helps startups engage the community to get buzz, feedback, and traction for their products and services, and find co-founders, employees, partners, and other support they need.

We connect startups with our partner companies and community organizations, which provide them with mentorship, exclusive opportunities & resources, and free or highly discounted services.

In BNT's 10-year history, we have collaborated with over 200 partner companies to produce and host/co-host over 200 free and not-for-profit events, including 117+ monthly startup showcases, with over 700 companies presenting!

At our startup showcases, 6 startups present to 100-250 members, giving a brief overview of their technology product, demonstrating it live, and answering questions from attendees. The presentations are preceded by an hour of networking and followed by another half hour of networking.

About 2/3 of BNT's network are technical and 2/3 have a role with at least one startup. The 1/3 who are not part of a startup are supporters and those “aspiring” to become entrepreneurs, who come to network with startups and others in the startup and tech community.

Would you like to engage BNT's 28k members to receive extensive publicity for your company's products, services, job openings, and/or events?

Tech Product Founders from New England always present for free. Join us to exhibit and present your product live at a startup showcase with 100-250 attendees. Please submit your information on our Presenter Signup Form and review our Guide for Presenters here.

Partner Companies can engage and support BNT's 50k network by hosting relevant events, speaking and exhibiting at events, and/or being featured in BNT's marketing channels.

To produce or co-host free events for the community, BNT needs support from partner companies in the form of event space, food, drinks, and event production staff.

To run our marketing and communications, BNT also needs financial support. We are hiring a Marketing Manager who will curate weekly and monthly email newsletters for 15 groups, maintain event listings and website content, and share BNT and partner content on 7 social media channels with ~16k followers.

BNT's network is led by volunteer organizers and BNT's operations are managed by Prepare 4 VC, a startup community, accelerator, and consulting firm that has been doing fantastic work in community-building and supporting the New England startup community.
