Learn more about Boston New Technology
Boston New Technology is a community-supported technology, startup and business networking group with 24k members/subscribers, whose mission is to help local businesses launch and grow, especially startups!
BNT is an awesome network for entrepreneurs, investors, coders, designers, business-developers, marketers, technology enthusiasts and other professionals to connect at live events, be inspired and educated, share amazing opportunities, collaborate, launch and learn about new product ventures, form partnerships and grow businesses! About 2/3 of BNT's business network are technical and 2/3 have a role with at least one startup. The 1/3 who are not part of a startup are supporters and those “aspiring” to become entrepreneurs, who come to network with startups and others in the startup and tech community.
BNT helps early-stage startups and partner companies get significant publicity and support from the community through our live events, marketing channels and partner groups. BNT helps startups engage the community to get buzz, feedback and traction for their products and services, and find co-founders, employees, partners and other support they need. We connect startups with our partner corporations and community organizations, which provide them with mentorship, exclusive opportunities & resources, and free or highly-discounted services.
In BNT's 7-year history, we have produced and hosted/co-hosted 130+ free and not-for-profit events, including 95+ monthly startup showcases, with over 650 companies presenting! See our Past Meetups here. At showcases, 7 startups present to 150-250 members, giving a brief overview of their technology product, demonstrating it live, and answering questions from attendees. The presentations are preceded by an hour of networking and followed by another half hour of networking.
Boston New Technology is dedicated to providing a harassment-free and inclusive event experience for all members/participants. Please review our policies for attending events and engaging fellow members online or in real life.
Consider hosting an event or presenting at Boston New Technology to get publicity and traction for your company's products, services, job openings and/or events, with our 24k network! Local, early-stage startups present for free.
Technology Startups from New England
Local, early-stage founders with new software or hardware technology products are welcome to exhibit and present their product live at one of our monthly showcase events, which are professionally photographed and video-recorded, and draw about 200 attendees. Presenting is free for New England-based companies with a tech product launched publicly for less than one year, or a product up to 3 years old, having less than $1M in funding and less than $1M total revenue. The startup founders should present and conduct the live demonstration, though multiple people can participate. Please submit your company information using our Presenter Signup Form and review our Guide for Presenters here.
Established or Non-New-England Companies
If your company does not qualify as an early-stage startup (as above), please support BNT to engage our network of 24k+ Boston-area startup founders/employees, developers, IT professionals, community & business leaders and others interested in technology. BNT can provide you with live engagement and extensive publicity for your company's products, services, job openings and/or events! All sponsor funds are used to support local startups / entrepreneurship, and to run free and not-for-profit events. Contact: Chris "at" BostonNewTechnology.com
